Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles will be catapulted to a new dimension of connectivity and innovation through seamless integration with the Google Maps Platform and Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS).
Revolutionizing Navigation with Google Maps Platform
The collaboration brings on board the integration of Google Maps Platform’s Places API. The integration enhances navigation capability within the Group’s vehicles. Places API provides detailed, real-time information about more than 250 million locations worldwide, such as business hours, contact details, ratings, reviews, and more. This cutting-edge technology will enable drivers to drive confidently and conveniently.

Apart from the Places API, the Group has adopted Google’s Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS). This makes the vehicle’s software ecosystem much deeper, giving drivers familiar and intuitive interfaces.
